Jim Palmer, Senior Pastor
Pastor Jim Palmer is the senior pastor of Capital City Church. He and his wife Renee have three teenage sons (Nathan, Justin and Christian).
Pastor Jim was born in Pennsylvania and moved to northeast Ohio in his early teens, attending Wadsworth High School. He earned a BA in Bible from Central Bible College and an MA in Biblical Studies from Ashland University Seminary. Prior to founding Capital City Church in 1990, he served as the youth pastor at Parma Bethel Temple A/G, and later as the Ohio Youth Ministries Director.
Pastor Jim is an Executive Presbyter for the Ohio Assemblies of God, assisting church leaders in diagnostic and development related to administration and ministry. He enjoys playing golf and tennis, and watching children's sporting events. His favorite authors are Philip Johnson, Charles Swindoll, C.S. Lewis, and Philip Yancey.
Staci Inskeep, Kids Pastor
Pastor Staci Inskeep is the kids pastor of Capital City Church. Joining us on July 18, 2004, this is her first full-time pastoral position. She previously taught elementary-aged children for 12 years in public and private school settings, in Lakeland, Florida for 8 years, and in the Dominican Republic for 4 years. She graduated from Southeastern Bible College in December of 1992.
Pastor Staci has always enjoyed being with children. Her vision in ministry is to help children and their families develop an intimate relationship with God. She works to develop their abilities to worship God, introduce others to Jesus, and "shine their lights" wherever they go.
Pastor Staci enjoys playing the piano, singing, reading, going to kids activities, and hanging out with her friends. One of her favorite books is Transforming Children into Spiritual Champions, by George Barna.
